Samea ruskeanoranssi olut hyvin pienellä valkoisella vaahtoreunuksella. Jättää kuitenkin kivasti pitsiä. Tuoksu on hedelmäinen, varsinkin aprikoosinen, ja kevyen hiivainen. Raikas, hedelmäinen/aprikoosinen maku on ehkä hieman normisaisoneista poikkeava. Keskitäyteläinen, melko makea. Happamuutta saisi olla ehkä vähän lisää, nyt tämä on asteen verran turhan makea ja tunkkainen.

Bottle, thanks hirigalzkar. Pours hazy golden. Aroma of lemon, hay and apples. Tart, a little thin, lemon and balanced bitterness.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 04.03.16.

330 ml bottle at home thanks to VastActiv. Light hazy golden orange color with white to off white head. Aroma is yeasty, malty and light hoppy, dusty, light spicy, caramel, light citrusy fruity. Sweet and light bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

At a tasting, thanks, smallish bubbly head, cloudy just lightish orange color, aroma of tobacco, spiciness and a touch pf sour bread, flavor of sour bread, almonds and a hint of vanila, medium strong bitterness, fruity sourness, zingy carbonation, unusual but quite enjoyable.

330ml bottle bought at Arkadia Helsinki, shared with djoeye and Finn. Hazy golden body. Stable pearl white head leaving spotty lacing behind. Mid-sweet fruity aroma, peach and pineapple. Apricot and peach to the taste buds together with semi-sweet caramel and with yeasty esters towards the ending. Rather well balanced. Half-way pleasing (session in Tromsø 10.11.2015).

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks troubles. Cloudy yellow. Aroma of yeast, citrus, a bit of spiciness, an earthy hint. Flavor is quite dry, yeasty, citric, mildly tart, with spiciness. Light to medium-bodied.

Flaske 330ml - spandert av djoeye. Delt med ham og Rune. Gyldengulbrun. Litt uklar. Middels høyt kremaktig skum. Beskjeden søt sitrusaroma. Smaken litt søt - men syrligheten overtar. Lettere tørr ettersmak.

330 ml. bottle. BBF 04/03/16. Rather hazy golden, smallish fading white head. Nose is dull lemon soap, dull flowers, light yeast, soapy grains, dull at best. Body is a bit fizzy. Taste is dull lots of soap, grains, flowers, oily, yeast, lightly vegetable, flowers, oily. Sigh, a boring stereotypical Belgian at best, too much soap, lightly vegetable, touch dirty. Another boring at best Belgian passed off as saison to cash in on the current crazy. Saison is the new tripel (I don’t mean that in a positive way). FatPhil’s review really nails this one.
