Bottle. Golden color. Citrus, pineapple and soft grassy notes in the aroma. Grassy hopbitter flavor with hints of plastic, melon and citrus. Caramel. OK.

Sampled bottled @ Fête de la Bière Finlandaise. Golden orange, white bubbles. Nose is herbal, touch watery, orange peel, light candy. Taste is decent, hay, orange peel, bit watery, faintly moldy malts, biscuit, a bit bitter, light grains, some orange peel, faintly sweetish. Touch watery. Nothing special but rather okay / decent overall.

About 100ml poured from a bottle at the brewpub. Near-clear golden body. Spotty lacing from a low white layer. Mid-sweet fruity hops on the nose. Mixed taste of pineapple and mild caramel malts. Dry, rounded bittersweet tail. Medium bodied. Nice (Helsinki 25.09.2015).

Bottle 330ml. @ [ post-PBF X ] by oh6gdx, Vaasa, Finland. [ As Bryggeri Helsinki Golden Ale ].Unclear matt medium orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, nutty, caramel, moderate hoppy, grass, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, orange, bread - caramel malt, orange - pine notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottled at Post-PBF, Vaasa. Cloudy golden, small head. Buttery apricot aroma. Mid sweet with light-medium body and clean mouthfeel. Apricots and sugar, some caramel and saccharine. Lightly resiny finish.

Bottle 330ml (Alko)
Slightly hazy yellow color, good white head. Citrus, gooseberry in softly hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Fruity front then bitter citrus-piney hoppyness. Long lingering bitterness in the dry aftertaste. Good hoppy brew, although it is really IPA, not "Golden Ale".

A hazy, yellow beer with a quite weak and white head. Aroma has biscuits, citrusfruits and herbs. Taste has biscuity malts, lemon, strong herbs, quite strong bitterness that is strongly herbal in the end. Medium bodied, quite high carbonation. Quite strong body, could be more refreshning. Strong bitterness in the traditional Golden Ale.

Draught@HBF2014. Golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is mild tropical fruits along with some bready and grassy notes. Flavour is tropical fruits, nectar, mild sweet malts, some bready notes as well as quite big herbal/grassy bitterness in the finish. Decent although the hopping itself clashes a bit.
