Bottle received as a gift from a friend. Thank you! 650 ml. bottle sampled @ home. BBF 02/16. Sticker on the back states that this was imported into Belgium. Surprised that there is a market big enough for this in Belgium to warrant shipping this across the globe. Clear golden, disappearing paper-white head. Nose is nasty corn, huge vegetable oil, very sweet industrial corn & eggs. Taste is sweet empty corn, vegetable oil, low mineral, big sweet corn, basic weird sweetener & corn sweetness, vegetables, starch, hay,… Oily, tad watery, quite industrial sweet,.. Very basic sweetness, no real bad flavours,… Not very good but I have definitely had worse, I expected this one to be worse.

Couple of 50cl bottles in my Kathmandu hotel. Pours a clear gold with some sticky, white head. Doesn’t look bad. Nose has some mild grass notes, a little lemon, but quite corny, a little white flour, quite crackery. Flavor is a bit weaker, lemon, yeast, white flour, a little vitamin C. Watery finish. Had worse.

Bottle. A clear, quite pale golden beer with a small, white head. The aroma is fruity and grainy with a touch of rice cooking water. Rather rice-ish flavor, with grains, apples and pears and the vaguest bitterness. Thin on the palate, with a soft carbonation. Semi-dry. Lasting fruity finish. Surprisingly thin, and not very good either. 141219

The best known Nepalese beer next to Nepal Ice and Everest, from a Carlsberg-owned brewery in Katmandu. Thin, snow white head, colour clear golden blonde with calm sparkling. Sweet grainy aroma, typical Asian lager with hints of rice, honey, bread dough, powdered sugar and mineral water. Rather neutral taste, grainy, bit corn-like, sweetish with minerals, smooth, soft carbonation, very mild hoppiness in the finish, which stays grainy rather than becoming actually bitter. Nothing exciting apart from the fact that it comes from a country hardly anyone would go to for beer purposes.
