Clear deep amber colour, average off-white frothy head, a lot of bubbles, recedes after a while to thin layer. Sweet malty nose, bready, roasty touch, caramel. Taste medium sweet, slightly bitter, caramel, medium body, oily to creamy texture, mild mouthfeel. Finish mild sweetbitter, nutty and caramel notes, decent beer but by no means a bock.

0,33L bottle, BB 06.2015. Pours clear copper with off-white head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is very sweet, malt, grains. Flavor is very sweet, alcohol, malt, caramel, some fruity notes, feels somewhat artificial. Carbonation is high. Overall: not good.

Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 5A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L2617742. AROMA: sweet background with solventy notes and some cereal husk aroma. very faint malt aroma and no hop aromas. APPEARANCE: caramel like color and translucent. thin ivory head with poor retention. TASTE: faint sweet flavour mixed with some solventy notes. no noble malt flavours are present. very low bitterness. finishes sweet. PALATE: thin body with low carbonation. OVERALL: a watered down and artificial bulk beer that is not a bock nor an abbey style ale.

100 yen on sale at Liquor Mountain! A clear deep reddish amber with a thick foamy beige head. The aroma is malty sweet bready grains. The taste is sweet with a syrupy mouthfeel, it gives me light toffee and a bready caramel. It is actually pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle courtesy of Mr Hangover. Poured a clear medium amber with a round off-white head. The aroma is sweet malt. The flavour is medium sweet with a watery sweet malt palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Way too sweet and too watery.
