An India Pale Ale featuring Nelson Sauvin hops. Named after the Sauvignon Blanc grape, is a variety of hop developed and grown in New Zealand. It has a strong fruity flavor and aroma that is described as resembling white wine, or fresh crushed grapes or gooseberries. Some reviewers of this hop perceive the fruitiness as being very tropical with deScriptions including passion fruit, tangerines, and grapefruit.

Tap @ BeerGeekBar, Prague. Pours Cloudy copper with a white head. Papercuffs, bread, grass and citrus. Medium bodied. Smooth, dry and bitter. Not entirely fresh I assume. But again very malty..

Draught @ Fermentoren Aarhus, Norregade 24, DK-8000 Aarhus, Denmark. [ As Against the Grain Rico Sauvin ].Unclear medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, pine, spruce, orange - citrus, cat piss, sharp hops, earthy - damp stain notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, sweet fruit, hoppy, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Tap@Fermentoren, Copenhagen - amber pour with off-white head. Aroma and taste is fruity and grassy hoppy, prominent nelson, grapefruit, citrus lemon zest, delicate floral nuances throughout, enjoyable brew.

From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small white and creamy dense head. Aroma is grapefruity and light pine hoppy. Crisp hoppy. Mild peachy, light citrusy. Lingering fruity. Smooth, peachy and light citrusy finish.
