Our Street Series of IPAs pays homage to our home, Boston's Fort Point neighborhood. Each entry in the series maintains the same distinctive grist bill and bittering hop addition, offering a clean and soft backbone for a singular dry-hop varietal to take the lead. Summer Street highlights Simcoe, the Pacific Northwest varietal largely responsible for the recent explosion of aromatic hop-breeding in the US. Pouring a beautiful light orange with a gentle, glowing haze, our treatment of Simcoe results in tactfully balanced aromatics featuring notes of grapefruit zest, spicy pine, candied lemon, and white grape. The front of the palate is greeted with an intense citrus juice character that eases its way into a well-structured and nuanced resinous bitterness. Dry, crisp, and medium-bodied, Summer Street straddles the line between a New England and West Coast IPA drinking experience.

Rocky white head on a murky dull golden coloured body. Exotic fruits, mango & melon aroma. Medium bodied, soft with a tingle on the back. Mango, melon, dank, orange & citrus pith tastes. Excellent.

Draft pour at Dominion Wine & Beer. Poured a cloudy yellow color with a small white head. Really nice hop profile. Juicy. A touch more light bodied than I expected. I got a touch of lime zest in this one.

Light body, bit dry, piney. Maybe a night cap. Long day of gym, hockey, work. Thanks Barry!

Pint on tap w/Matt at Matchplay Golf and Sports Lounge, Andover. Cloudy dark yellow with nice head, good retention and nice lacing. Aroma is citrus and fruit. Taste mirrors aroma. Soft, smooth texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Not getting the pine and grape contributions to aroma and taste--pretty much generic fruit consistent with Simcoe.

US Pint can from KWM Wines, drank during the Super Bowl late on Sunday night in Devon on 11th February 2024. Orange coloured body, hazy, swift fading white head. Simcoe hops giving a huge orange like aroma and taste, other citrus fruits get involved!

Can from Great Grog. Hazy golden body with a thin off-white head. No visible carbonation. Family my lacing. Aroma of pine and lemon. Flavour of honey and orange. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. A solid IPA, not quite worth the c£10 price.

1000th USA rating….Can at home, in the garden, no summer here though ! 3rd August 23. Pours a light hazy orange. Aroma is grapefruit and tan dines, light lime. Taste is very pithy, grapefruit, peel, orange rind, lovely and bitter, fruity and refreshing. Loving the bitter hit and fruit here.

Pint can (canned last month) from House of Trembling Madness. A hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a medium of white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, orange, lemon, mango, tropical fruit taste and aroma. It’s a decent enough IPA but I’ve not really been blown away by Trillium so far. Plenty of hype surrounding this brewery. I’d actually say Verdant & Cloudwater from England are better (and cheaper).
