Detta är en riktigt anrik svensk porter från Slottskällan. Mustig, fyllig och toppad med ljust, tätt skum. Malten har rostats bärnstensfärgad på hög temperatur och resultatet skulle vi vilja påstå är rätt majestätiskt.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav’s place. Thanks troubles. Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of roast, coffee, licorice and a bit of fruitiness. Flavor has light sweetness, but is rather dry, roasty, with some coffee and a bit of licorice. Finishes quite bitter. Medium-bodied.

Duft av kaffe, bek, lakris og en anelse mørk sjokolade. Mørk brun, nesten sort farge. Dekkende brunt skum. Smak av kaffe, og noe sjokolade.

Bottle from Jysk Vin Randers (nice shop). Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Chocolate and coffee. Moderate bitter roasted flavor. Moderate bitter average finish. Creamy palate. Nice.

Bottle at home from Systembolaget Nordstan, Goteborg, 07/05/14. Light black with a big old frothy half tan head of bubbles. Nose is roast malt, light coffee, tobacco, dark fruit rind, metallic rinse. Taste comprises much the same, roast malt, cocoa powder, earthy rinse, dark fruits Medium bodied, prickly carbonation - overcooked and to the detriment of the drinkability however after leaving this to settle for 10 minutes it dies down, drying close. Ok porter.

Bottle from some Swedish Systembolaget. Poured a deep mahogany with a this frothy light tan head. The aroma is big creamy caramel malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a smooth earthy malt soft hop spice bitter palate and a long smooth bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. More of a smooth black IPA than a porter a truly awesome. Really liked this.

33cl bottle shared with JMGreenUK and Sic1314. Thin creamy tan head. Clear deep amber pour. Nice chocolate aftertaste. Nice brew.
