Mocha Machine is a well-engineered endeavor in massive aromatics and rich flavors. Brewed with an array British and German malts, this burly brew is infused with masterfully roasted coffee from Portola Coffee Lab in Costa Mesa, CA. It is then aged on cacao nibs from Ecuador, adding an awesomely deep dimension of fudge.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Very dark brown to black colour, small beige head. Aroma of roast malts, coffee and cocoa. Slightly dry flavour of coffee and cocoa. Okay, but not very inventive.

On tap @Ma che siete venuti a fà (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma beige media, discretamente persistente. Al naso note intensissime di caffè, cioccolato fondente, liquirizia. In bocca è caffettosa, forse un po' monocorde, manca di rotondità. Corpo medio-alto, carbonazione media. Buona, ma alla lunga risulta stucchevole.

Draught @ Beer Temple. Clear deep dark brown color with a reddish hue. Big frothy beige head. Aroma's: firm roast, ground coffee, some red fruit. Retronasal it's heavy roast, koffiedik, sweetish. Flavor is moderate sweet, chocolate, light fruity sourness. Medium bodied. Quite full bodied, and the soft carbonation makes it even fuller. Finishes roasty, red fruit, moderate bitter.

8 3 8 4 17Draft at Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Near black with a tan head. Aroma of coffee, roast, chocolate, toffee, cocoa and fudge. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at Himmeriget. Dark brown pour with a thin, velvety tan head. Notes of smooth, sweet, reshly brewed coffee, cocoa nibs, light acidic coffee, light coke, roasted malts, milk chocolate.
