Punertavan ruskea, meripihkan värinen ja ehkä aavistuksen samea olut kauniilla ja kestävällä reilulla puolen sentin vaahtokerroksella. Tuoksussa makeaa maltaisuutta, pähkinää ja toffeeta. Myös maku makean maltainen, pähkinäinen ja varsinkin loppupuoleltaan katkeran greippinen sekä sitruksisen ja yrttisen humaloitu. Katkeroa ei ole kuitenkaan vedetty millään lailla överiksi, vaan aika tasapainoisen oloinen kokonaisuus tässä on kyseessä liu’uttaessa karamellisen makeasta alkutunnelmasta katkeramman greippiseen jälkipuoliskoon.

Clear amber color with a fine off white head. Nice lacing. Looks good. Fine intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and a fine carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Bready, rye, some citric notes and some spices in the flavor. Lovely ale!

BOTTLE 33 CL. Sweetish dark caramel and bread (not the spicy but sweeter variety), hint of toasted malts. Simple toasty malts, low sweetness balanced out by a spicy hop bitterness. The rye is quite subdues. Simple.

Bottle, 5.9%. Dark brown/red with medium beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, hop, rye and a little bread. Flavour is malt, caramel, rye, little chocolate, medium sweet, hops, little bread and medium bitter.

From tap. Pours dark brown with an off white head, light tan. Creamy. Roasted malty and slight caramelish. Roasted, breadish and dark malty. Dry, bitter and roasted dry finish. Bitter and dark malty finish.

Bottle from Beers’n’more. Sweet and rye’y indeed, with a tasty chocolate. Rich but medium-bodied, with a lasting sweet finish. Easy to drink, with a matching carbonation. Yummy!

Dark brown with a reddish hue. Aroma has some caramel sweetness. Flavours of rye, liquorice, dark bread and a well balanced hop bitterness in the finish.

Medium, but really stable & dense cream-coloured head; dark amber beer. Sweetish smell, syrupy, maltsyrup, other grains, roasted, ryecookies, toffee. Sweetish, but with a stout-like acidity behind; roasted. Some New World hops, and heaps of coloured malt, melanoidins, breadcrust. Quite slick, viscous, creamy, making it appear better bodied than it is. Wondering about the tenacious head. Decent.
