bottle, Hienrichs 3000 Kornwestheim. Deep golden brown with a tall off-white head. Hoppy nose. Medium-bodied, malty base delivering good aromatic and bitter hops, resinous and piney, hints of grapefruti and citrus fruit.

On tap at Mother Kelly’s, Bethnal Green. Reddish brown, translucent. Trace of quickly dissipating white head. Raspberry ripple, chocolate and a bit of spruce in the aroma. Sweet taste with a hint of rye spiciness. Bitterness increases toward the end. Clove and milk chocolate in the aftertaste. Love this brewery but maybe not this beer so much.

330ml Bottle - Dark brown in colour. Rye, raisins and biscuity malt in the aroma. Malty taste with rye, hazelnuts, roasted malt and berries. I preferred the first version.

Draught. Black colour, beautiful frothy beige head that stays quite long. Aroma is intensive roasted grain, even a bit of ash, caramel, some hops. Light bitterness, light sweetness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Overall - I wasn?t much impressed.
