Bottled 330ml.-at Goblet Zagreb. Dark golden/amberish coloured, small off-white head that went away fast, caramel and light alcohol in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, fruity and floral with touch of honey in the finish.

Süffiger, vergoren hefiger Beginn. Hopfig, bananig, geringe Süße. Geringe Herbe, konstante Hopfigkeit, rund. Langer, weiterhin hefiger Abgang, der aber deutlich trockener als der Antrunk ist. Nett. 9/11/11/11/10/11

Bottle. Clear amber with a decent white head. Aroma of strawberry jam, red currants, flowers and grains with tiny hints of lemons. Taste of red currants, strawberry jam, malts and a little bit of biscuits and caramel. Slightly acidic. Moderate bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Unfortunately it’s lacking punch and cohesiveness.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, dark amber colour with small, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Slightly fruity, minimally floral and grassy, hoppy and minimally toasty, mellow malty aroma, hints of strawberry, a touch of toasted white bread. Taste fruity, slightly bitter, minimally floral and grassy hoppy, minimally toasty, caramel malty, hints of strawberry, metallic overtones; lingering, bitter, metallic, minimally soapy finish. Watery texture, dry palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Doesn't work for me...

Bottle picked up from Appel Getrankemarkt, Moosburg and consumed at home Sunday 24th January 2021 whilst listening to a German Playlist on Tidal called Hamburger Schule, we’re cooking Cheese Spaetzle and Onion Bake. Pours hazy amber with a white head, soft mouthfeel, a little chewy, not convinced that this is a particularly good hop to use for a single hop beer. A little grassy, a hint of bubble gum, some middling bitterness.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, dark golden with a small, white head. Subtle spicy/perfumy nose, but the beer doesn't appear to be dryhopped. Rich, malty body. Lowish carbonation. A hint of caramel and a dry finish. There's not an awful lot happening here, and the Monroe hops (never heard of them) aren't realy allowed to shine. I think a dryhopping could've made this a lot more interesting. Not bad as it is, but a fairly generic Strong Ale. 021020

Fläschla (Großen Dank am See!): Deep golden, hazy, small white foamy layer, herbal-hoppy - a bit cheesy too - nose with small amounts of pale malt underneath, some booze detectable; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied, not soft; increasing maltiness (!) towards the moderate bitter-sweet finish. Disappointing...

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, more and more fresh-hoppy, grasy-flowery notes. Mild sweetish background. Fine fruity notes of lemon, some berries as well. Nice one!
