330ml bottle [#0789/1000]. Cloudy, dark brown colour with a thin layer of macropore off-white bubbles on top. Sweet-ish, caramel malty and slightly fruity aroma, notes of caramel, cherry, plum, hints of milk chocolate. Taste is slightly dry, minimally tart, woody, sweet-ish caramel malty, slightly fruity, hints of Whiskey, cherry, a touch of plum, milk chocolate, caramel, green wood, minimally metallic overtones; alcoholic finish with a touch of brandy. Relatively light body, watery texture, soft, minimally cloying palate. Despite the double-digit abv there's not enough substance to be adequately informed by the BA flavours.

0,33 l bottle 0719/1000 from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Brown in the glass, no head as expected. Whiskey smell with some malt and sweetness. Taste is smooth, some whiskey with sweetness, caramel, wet wood, hidden alcohol. More like a mix drink with coke. Can not convince.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass brownish, small head. Starts strong, intense malty, some notes of chocolate, modest earthy. Finish well balanced, warming-malty, still some alcoholic notes. Interesting!

Bottle from Denn's in Minden. Bottle #0727/1000. Smooth grainy beginning. The whisky is present, the body is neutral. Grainy finish with wood and whisky. In total: Nice whisky and wood, very weak ground-beer.

Shared with Erzengel! A clear orange brown beer with a small beige lacing. Aroma of sweet caramelized malt, vanilla, oak. Taste of sweet caramelized malt, vanilla, oak, not too sweet.

Bottle. Not so clear red/brown/copper with a tiny white head. Aroma of malt lozenges and soy sauce. Taste is malts, nail polish remover, honey, booze, red fruits, caramel, wood and bourbon. Low carbonation. Alcohol is well hidden despite the boozy taste if that makes any sense....Thin mouthfeel. Pff, that's a hard beer to judge as I am really not it into Bourbon...Interesting for sure and I'm glad I didn't need to pay for it but a real pleasure it was not.
