12 oz. can purchased at Total Wine & Liquor in Colorado Springs, CO. Pours a clear dark copper color with no head or lacing. No carbonation at all. I think this can has been compromised. No aroma. Without CO2 it tasted like a dark lager mixed with old caramel. I can't really judge this fairly. The 7.0% ABV is well hidden.

Shared with Erzengel! A orange brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of strong caramelized reddish malt, spruce and nuts. Taste of sweet nutty malt, caramel, spruce, sweet strong malty finish.

Many thanks to kappldav123 for sharing! Fruity smooth nose with dry grainy malt. The beer starts very fruity, grainy with hints or brown sugar. Easy to drink, not much bitterness, not too deep. Fruity grainy in the end. Sessionable and a bit neutral.

Huge thanks to my wife for bringing this one home from her trip to the US. Can looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass light brown, small head. Nice roasty-sweetish-malty aroma. Starts fine malty, roasty, sweetish, some hints of caramel. Some notes of nuts. Finish well balanced, roasted malty, still nice caramel notes. Nice one!

Sample from a can at Veteran's. Pours a clear, ruby-brown color, with a small, tan head. The nose is light smoke, caramel, bark, rye, and molasses. Sweet and syrupy, with a light bitterness. Light to medium body, with a syrupy, sharp, and watery palate. This is a weak doppelbock, but pretty tasty, regardless.
