Bière locale dénichée dans l’Est. Robe blonde dorée limpide, mousse fine. Nez assez discret, porté sur le malt et une légère touche herbacée. En bouche, l’attaque est franche, amertume bien présente sans excès, dans un style assez classique. On est sur une IPA plutôt typée anglaise, avec une base maltée équilibrée et un houblon qui reste sage. Rien de renversant, mais une bière correcte, qui fait le job.

50cl bottle as “Bon Poison IPA” (5,8%; 50IBU) from E.Leclerc VERDUN, France. Head is medium, egg-white, good retention. Colour is deep gold, hazy. Aroma is grapefruits, pine, caramel, tropical fruits, nice hoppy all together. Taste is medium malty base, grapefruits, bit toast, onion effect, tropical fruits, pine resin, long lasting bitterness, medium carbonation, good one, enjoyed for sure.

Bottle. Clear dark amber. Caramel malts, dry resinous hops, grassy, grapefruit, spruce. Light sweet, quite bitter. Medium bodied with dry resinous finish.

On tap. A clear amber beer with a white head. Aroma of resinous bitter hops, caramel, reddish malt. Taste of resinous bitter hops, reddish malt, spruce, long bitter finish.
