Snörkel was brewed with alderwood smoked sea salt and oyster mushrooms takes inspiration from the classic German "Gose" style. Like a traditional Gose, Snörkel is moderate in alcohol and has some acidity, but you won't find the savory, umami flavor of oyster mushrooms in any German version!

Bottled. Pale gold pour. Salty aroma and with mushroom soily herbalness. Tart acidic tasting and a bit of fungus. Nice job.

Aromas are citrus, brett, spice, malt and the barest hint of mushroom. Flavors are similar to nose, mildly tart, dry and some bitter. If I wasn't told there were mushrooms and smoked salt in here I wouldn't guess it. Body is a bit thin okay carbonation. Interesting idea, so so execution.

Barnyard funk, white grape nose. Pale yellow, thick sticky head. White grape skins, twigs. Light body, easy carbonation.

750ml bottle. Murky yellow white head. Salty and malty, dried flowers. Flavor is mild but nicely balanced. Lightly salt and lightly floral. Dry and lightly tart. 7 3 7 3 13

Can. Pours clear straw with an off-white head. Tart fruit, funk, oak, white wine, bit of barnyard, touch of salt, earth.

16oz. Really unique beer. The mushrooms are mild and distant at first, but show up more a few sips in. Great depth for a gose, albeit earthy mushroom. Cool beer.

Can. Amber beer with a cream head. Earthy and light tart aroma with salt. Tart and citrus flavor with light earthiness and light yeast. Medium bodied. Tartness and citrus linger with light earth, light salt, and yeast.

Odd brew here. Earthy and wheaty. Salt shines through. Clear yellow colored little flat on body and a finger of white head. Interesting but overall not my jam
