Snörkel was brewed with alderwood smoked sea salt and oyster mushrooms takes inspiration from the classic German "Gose" style. Like a traditional Gose, Snörkel is moderate in alcohol and has some acidity, but you won't find the savory, umami flavor of oyster mushrooms in any German version!

Bottle pour at Salud. Hazy pale yellow color white head. Earthy musty aroma. Taste is light earth. OK. Contrary to local belief, this beer does not contain mushrooms. Just sayin

On tap at the Well. Pours gold. Funk, lemon, white grape, light tartness, sourdough. Light spritzy body. Delicious.

Draft @ Beavertown Extravaganza'17. Dorée, col blanc fizzy. Arôme au bouquet citrique, léger rétro minéral avec effet marin, léger élément de fumé tout en gardant l'approche un peu funk de Jester King. Palais est léger finement sour, citrique avec une belle pointe de fumé, et note de minéral voire de salin. Usage d'algue et en plus de les fumer est clairement unique, retrouve presque un effet terreux voire umami. Fumé plus fini citrique marqué.

Tap. Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is sea salt, fishy, oysters, wheat. Taste is salty, oysters, dough, peppery yeasts. Medium carbonation. One of the most ridiculous beers ever. (and why is this not a Gose?)

Keg at Beaverfest. Sour goseness with an all emcompassing tangy savoury hit. Opaque palest gold. Thin creamy white head. Light sour smothered by saly and umami. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat carb. Abrupt finish. Odd but moreish. I like.
