Bottle. Creamy light Brown excellent fully lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Chocolate and Vanilla notes. lacks Islay notes. Heavy bitter soapy flavor. Where did that Lagavulin go? Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Liège - Esbjerg - Europa League elite tasting September 2013. Black with a firm and lasting tan head. Roasted aroma of licorice and charcoal, with fruity notes and a hint of peat smoke. Very sweet and rather thick roasted flavour with licorice, coffee, soy sauce, charcoal and sugar, with peat smoke kept reasonably in check.

Bottle. Black colour with a tan head with excellent lasting, small bubbles and very nice lacework. Aroma is roasted malts, whisky and wood, notes of ripe plums. Flavor is strong coffee with a high presence of whisky notes as well, dark chocolate, notes of wood and ashes are highly present. Smooth and creamy on palate results very drinkable in spite of the high alcohol that it presents us. Very good compensated the alchol with the coffee and whisky notes. No doubt that best Spanish beer I’ve ever drink.

Bottle from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen, bb 08/05/2015, 12% ABV
Black color with small beige head. Medium aroma, with roasted malt, cardboard, iodine, phenol, soap; bread and biscuits later. Full bodied, the mouthfeel is quite round, a bit oily; quite good flavor of roasted malt and dark chocolate, very light peat, salty; correct bitterness, a bit resiny; an impression of lactose in the end.
Good, but somehow strange.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear dark brown with a reddish hue and a small light brown head. Sweet and heavy booze in the nose, overripe dark fruit and again some ammonia, but fortunately very little peat. Thick, syrupy body, low carbonation, subtle roast and chocolate, a slight whiff of ashes, a rustic, woody touch but luckily only subte peat. Quite some heat here! Like it! 140113
