Oak aged. Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a red-orange color with a small beige head. The aroma was molasses, fruits, ginger, caramel and rum. The flavor was caramel, molasses, ripe fruits, wood, rum, cocoa and ginger. There is a long finish that turns bitter. Thick but a bit boozy. Nice.

clear amber, no lasting head, but smooth white while it is there. aroma of old ale, vanilla, sweet malts, caramel, wood. alc pretty well hidden in the aroma. flavor is sweet malty, toffee, wood, faint spicy, quite strong flavor. alc hidden but you know it’s powerfull from the overall flavor. a bit too bitter woody spicy, but quite interesting nevertheless. the kind of beer you would spend the entire night emptying slowly.
