Welcome to tropical hop heaven. Soundwave is eminently drinkable, full of flavour and subtle with bitterness. Our most famous beer pours with an inviting haze, while big-hitting American hops deliver fruit notes in abundance and a trademark resinous finish.

Bottle. Pale amber with a modest white head. Some particles. Aroma of Meyer lemons, mango, pine, some mint, a little hay and peach. Medium bodied, lowish carbonation. Sweet peach bubblegum, citrus, mango. More dry than bitter at the end, but bitter enough. Quite resinous at the end too. Good.

Quite a strong aroma of piney, skunky, resinous hops. They come through in the flavour too together with some caramelly malts. Would probably benefit from being a bit stronger.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, golden colour with floaties and a blond mid-sized foamy head. Very fruity hoppy aroma with notes of grapefruit, cassis and a distinctive touch of mango, backed by a mildly malty touch. Moderately bitter and delicately tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry malt character with a cornucopia of fruity and delicately resiny hop flavours, most of all citrus, grapefruit, cassis and mango, lingering into the dry and moderately hop bitter and slightly tart finish. Dirty little b…. 30.XI.15

Bottiglia @ Milano Beer Week.

A high class, state of the art IPA from Siren. Pours dark yellow with large fizzy lasting white head. Sparkling medium body, good lacing. Average malts, mostly grain and cereal. Heavy hops, floral, citrus, orange, grapefruit, lemon with hints of exotic fruits, dry-bitter aftertaste with average duration. Very refreshing, very drinkable, very West Coast as the ad description says.

Part of a 10 euro, 6 beer blind tasting set at Trois 8’s biergarten event in Paris. It poured a light cloudy gold with a big fruity citrus + tropical fruits (lychee) aroma. Light bodied with a very dry finish. The taste is bitter pine & light fruits. I thought it might be Brewdog... alright but after the high praise I heard surrounding Siren I expected more from them.
