Super clear copper and bronze coloured body with a thinnish off-white head that stays nicely on top of the ever-so-slightly-hazy body. Aroma of citrus fruit, light pine, some floral and grassy notes with a good bit of sweetness towards the end that’s noticeable and shows a touch of alcohol as well. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong orange and citrus flavours show at first with a lot of bitterness from the alpha acids here in the hops with a good sweetness, some alcohol pushing through and some strong malts as well. Aftertaste shows a good balance of malt, hops, sugars and fruit flavours with a ton of bitterness, but a relatively crisp finish, all seemingly derived from the hops with a big citrus fruit flavour and some lactose and creamy notes at the finish. Overall, a very nice and enjoyable New England IPA that borders on Imperial Status, but shows more of an orange and citrus fruit flavour than anything and the alcohol is hidden quite well that makes this seem just as a plain New England. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Columbus Circle), New York on 02-December-2021 for US$2,99 sampled the following day here in my hotel room here on Central Park South in New York, New York on 03-December-2021.

A hazed dark amber DIPA with a thick frothy lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with dank resinous floral hops, grapefruit, light sulfur, still robust. In mouth, caramel malt with resinous floral hops, rye, alcohol warmth, very nice. Batch 13.

Can - lightly hazy gold with a reasonably thick head - surprisingly light and crushable for the style, the abv really doesn’t make itself known much until the finish - clean, lean, lightly sweet maltiness serves as the foundation for juicy citrus hops up front and peppery, lightly spicy hops on the back end - solid.

Can from Bottle Baron. Hazy deep golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of tangerine and sugared grapefruit. Flavour of orange and pine. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A fantastic DIPA, clean, well balanced and very easy to drink.
