Backlog October 2013. Unclear orange body under a nice off-white head. Interesting, rather spicy aroma, malt, herbs, spices, licorice and pepper. Taste is sweet malt with the same spicy, herbs and slightly fruity taste. Medium body and pleasant aftertaste. Fun, different and a bit challenging but all over I like it.

Eine Kreation, die man mögen muss. Es ist auf jeden Fall sehr speziell und nicht so leicht zu bekommen, wie mir die Wirtin mitteilte. Es hat wirklich einen deutlichen Geschmack nach der mitverbrauten Enzianwurzel vor einem malzigen Hintergrund. Allerdings kommt auch so ein komischer Ton nach Kren und Kartoffel dazu, der mir nicht behagt. Wer gerne Enzianschnaps oder Gin oder rohes Knollen-Gemüse mag, kann zugreifen. Mir ist es zu abstrus.

Draft - Sweet hard lemon candy. Clear gold with a decent white head. Sweet light hard candy notes. Light dry finish. Not sure if I get the radish.

375 ml bottle. Honey gold pour. Small creamy beige head. Slightly citrusy, lemony malt notes. Herbal, citrusy notes. Thin and light bodied. OK.

Jan. 17. A 0.33 l bottle at Regina del Formaggio, Split. It poured a hazy darker golden to amber body with a small head. Fine but weaker arom, fruity, yeasty, lightly herbal - a nice Belgian touch. Flavor was very lightly on the sweeter side, lightly herbal and floral with some gentian that indeed gives a note of "entian" things my granma uses. Not bitter though, just spicy. Otherwise quite a typical belgian ale, well balanced, medium bodied with moderately long tasty finish.

Il gusto al naso viene catturato dallo speziato. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una scarsa tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il liquido appare velato. La carbonazione è praticamente piatta. Il colore è giallo dorato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è carico. L'intensità gustativa è elevata. La costanza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali che permangono sono di amaro. Il finale è amaro, lungo, pulito e complesso. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, pepe bianco, frutta secca e pesca.

Bottled 330ml. -Darker golden coloured, small white head, mild flowery/vegetables nose. Sweetish malty, light vegetables, mild spicy hoppy and probably notes of gentian with dry spicy bitterish finish. Odd but not bad.

Bottle at trapizzini, Roma. Bright orange color, hazed, short white head mild persistence. Aroma is peppery, spiced, funky, light fruity, thin hops. Taste is balanced, savory, salty. medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Finish is smooth, peppery.
