Bottle 0,33ltr: Headless dark brown colored brew with an sweet bitter taste, hints of caramel, mocha, brown sugar and red berries. Medicinal looks have this beer, good beery coughsyrup like brew.

Hazy brown colour, minimal beige lacing; aroma and taste of caramel, cocoa, some anise, soy sauce, Belgian yeast, prune, dried cherry and spicy alcoholic notes; great one

Bottled. Hazy ambery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is toffee, dark fruits, spicy and some bready, grainy and alcoholic tones. Flavour is fruity, candy sugary, toffeeish, mild wooden and alcoholic tones with some slight toffee to it. Spicy and somewhat boozy finish.

Bottle from FinestBelgianBeers. Pours a murky looking reddish brown colour with absolutely no head. Looks flat, no carbonation. Quite a lot of sediment. Aroma is vinous, whisky, wood, tobacco, leather, dry dark fruits and sugar. Taste has all the notes as the aroma with pronounced dry dark fruits, a hint of liquorice and more sugar. Full flavoured. Medium to full bodied, oily mouthfeel and a lingering sweet finish. The appearance and aroma of the beer was not that appealing but the taste is much better. Personally though it is too sweet for my liking. Nice enough sipper. Edit: The more i drink this beer the more sweet it becomes. Way too much sugar has ruined this beer. Shame

Bottle. Murky brown color. Roast and pear in the aroma. Malty swet, roasty flavor with nutmeg and pear. Anis. Alcohol is fairly well hidden.

F: medium, tanned, average retention. C: dark brown, opaque. A: dark malts, chocolate, dark cherries, fruity, caramel, yeasty, bit red wine. T: dark malts, caramel, candy, fruity, chocolate, BE yeast, bit liquorice, bit spicy, warming rum alcohol, more on the sweet side, almost complex I expected more but still very nice, fully enjoyed, 11%, 33cl bottle from the brewery.
