Pomona is inspired by the Roman Goddess of Apples. This still cider is a concentrated elixir hand crafted by freezing then slowly fermenting crabapple juice at cool temperatures, yielding a dessert-style cider with citrus and confectionery notes.

Bottled. An amber cider. The aroma has notes of apples and alcohol. The flavor is very sweet with notes of apples and alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Corked bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver; 16% ABV
The color is copper, with pinkish hue. Deep apple aroma, with some acidity; fruity and sugary trait, but not to the next stage like other Ice Ciders; hazelnuts as well. Very sweet; it has a high acidic level, high tannins, and medium to strong alcohol presence, but these don’t blend perfectly. I wonder if this is a fortified Ice Cider. Good, but not impressive.

Bottle shared by Enniskillen brought from the brewery. Crystal clear gold tinged with orange. Nose is crisp apples with hints of sweetness, and orange zest along with a very minor alcohol note (what do you expect from 13.3%). Flavor is sweet apples with a caramel note almost like a caramel covered apple. A hint of alcohol is present with the sweet finish. Best cider I have ever tasted!!!

Sampled at Dunbar Liquor Boutique, pours a murky orange. Flavours of apple, citrus and caramel / toffee notes, with a steady alcohol kick at the end. Quite complex and a very nice ice cider.
