Another pairing of hops and citrus. The juicy fruit punch of Motueka hops is offset by the zing of fresh lime zest; all backed up by a classic Saison yeast character.

On tap at Brew by Numbers, pours a cloudy pale golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very citrusy. Flavour is very similar, with loads of lime. Fairly light and restrained. Not the most interesting. Okay.

Bottle picked up at Sourced Market. It pours hazy gold with a medium white head. The nose is fresh, doughy, lime, white grape, green apple, nectarine, cherry blossom and honey. The taste is bitter, white bread, lime, grapefruit peel, orange sherbet, hay and dried grass with a lingering dry-citric finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Crisp and refreshing. Nice.

330ml Bottle - Golden with a foamy white head. Lime, lemon and grassy hops feature in the aroma. Zingy, zesty and quite tangy taste with notes of lime, grassy hops and a slightly spicy hint.

Bottle shared with Illuvatarmilan. Slightly unclear yellow color, medium sized quickly diminishing white head. Smell is weird, unusual. Probably the lime influence. Taste also clearly has lime and lightly hops. Not that typical saison-yeastyness. Nicely balanced, but nothing really stands out. Nice beer though. Quite refreshing.

330ml bottle. With the first pours clear, later hazy yellowish golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Aroma has a lime note, hints of peppermint and basil, a floral touch of hay, an unspecific vegetable background. Taste is dry and moderately tart, hints of lime, peppermint and basil, backgroundish the typical Grisette flavours. A nearby, obviously matching combination, sadly not fully working resp. leading to the rather monotonous result of damped vibration.

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail

Bottled 17/12/2013 - Pours clear yellowish orange with a small head. Aroma of lime, zesty and stingy fruitness, some tartness, spices, hints of pungent vegetables. Taste is sweet, zesty and fruity with loads of lime peel, hints of tartness, yeast and spices. Finish is smooth, slightly hoppy and zesty with lime notes. Not very balanced, as the lime overpowers everything here.
