Sour wheat beer originally coming from Leipzig, brewed for the first time in collaboration with a former craft brewery, who sold-out to Swinkels (Bavaria) Group in 2019. Goses are traditionally spiced with salt and coriander, but we decided to add bitter orange peels and bergamot: it’s fresh, aromatic, savoury, slightly sour and refreshing. Do you find it weird? Cloudy pale blond color; generous frothy head. It has a mild, spicy aroma of citrus fruit zest. The mouthfeel is dry and weak; the saltiness is very low; it has a mild acidity, and light citrusy presence.
Timid. It doesn’t impress as Gose, nor with the expected zesty character.

Klare goldgelbe Farbe, geringe weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Zitronenlimonade, minimal säuerlich. Geschmack fruchtig säuerlich, Kraut, Zitrone.

Shared bottle at local tasting. 20 IBU, ABV is 3.7%. Extremely pale yellow colour, low white head. Moderate lemony aroma, also notes of bergamot, a hint of fresh sea air. Light bodied. Medium sour and lemony flavour, a touch of salt, refreshing.

På rbhd-samling feb-15: uklar blekgul farge med filmskum. Aroma og smak minner mest om hjemmelaget limonade. Flat munnfølelse, men kan sikkert være en god forfriskning en varm sommerdag.
