330 ml bottled 7/Nov/14 from Ammersin 5, Vienna.
Black, oily body, with a small, dense, dark brown head.
Aroma of coffee, liquorice, very dark chocolate, tobacco, spices, some hops.
Tastes of espresso, liquorice, dark chocolate, molasses, tobacco, wood, alcohol.
Full, oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes roasty-bitter, dry, alcohol warming, with liquorice, coffee, wood, some tobacco.

Very nice. A pretty extreme Imperial Stout, very dark and roasty-bitter. The nose is a bit flat compared to the taste. Overall I prefer it a bit smoother and more balanced, but still an enjoyable sipper.

A black, oily pour with a thin coffee foam head. Intense flavour with lots of bitter coffee, some liquorice, a hint of smoke and chocolate in the aftertaste. Very thick and rich feeling.

Bottle. Black in the glass, with a dense, light tan head of moderate size. It’s lighlty alcoholic on the nose, with licorice, coffee and some balsamic vinegar, and dark chocolate. It’s full-bodied, warming, sweet and with a nice carbonation level. Brown sugar, licorice, hints of balsamic vinegar, some chocolate and coffee. Alcohol too. Lasting finish.
