Can at BBT 6/2023. A lot of talk about celery around the table when discussing this beer. I think the fault here was with the fruit - probably some parts got inside that were not supposed to - like pits, leafs, stalks. There is also solid nuttiness - instead of maple syrup, I get rather walnuts, bitter, almonds and stuff. Very high cloying sweetness, moderate green nutty bitterness. ABV hidden well. Does not feel as a beer at all. Actually this is not good even when considered as a non-beer. The flavours are all over the place, no harmony, just strength of random elements. No finesse at all. Average at best.

Can. Fruity cherry, vanilla and light maple syrup, cellery notes, high sweet, light sourish notes. Medium to full body, fruity cherry sweet and sour finish. Weird.

Bottle at BBT 6/2023. Deep red color with small pinkish head. Aroma of cellery, vanilla, maybe cherries, nuts. Taste is cherry, vanilla, cinnamon, maple syrup. Very sweet.

Refrigerated 16 oz can poured into a glass. Opaque crimson with medium purple head. Aroma is cherry & maple syrup, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is cherry, maple syrup, pancakes, and some salt.

A can shared at the dungeon. Thanks, Mustapohjola. Darker purple in colour, pink to purple head. Walnut aroma, maple syrup, molasses, blackberry or dark cherry. Metallic flavour, walnut again, sour, fruity background. Soft to moderate sourness. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate finish. Not the most interesting one.

Pours intensely dark red/purple. Medium sized, very stable pinkwhite head. Scent is very intense, thick, maple, sweet, relatively mild cherry, underneath the maple. Taste is full, intense sweet, maple, cherry is noticable, especially in the aftertaste. The candy-like kind, not sour cherries at all. It goes smoothly, in a balance that works very well. Thickbodied, medium carbo.

500ml can. Pours deep purple with a large pink head. Aroma is tart cherry, maple syrup and salt. Taste has sweet cherry to start. Lots of sweet maple syrup. Sour cherry finish.

Can at Eriks Noob Tasting #2. Deep red with pinkish head. Loads of maple, burnt caramel, tart cherries. Quite thick and creamy but highly drinkable still. Slight tartness towards the end. Surprisingly balanced. Very good!
