Durch ausgewählte Karamell-Malze erhält es nicht nur seine typische, satte Bernsteinfarbe, sondern auch seinen herrlich vollmundigen, malzbetonten Charakter. Mit 5,5 % alc ist es etwas stärker eingebraut als das Helle. Die milde Hopfenbittere mit nur 18 Bittereinheiten, verleiht seinem Körper den letzten Schliff.

Cloudy, dark amber color and a white head. Toasted malts, caramel, some spices. Malty, caramelly taste with herbal flavors. --- Beer merged from original tick of Märzen on 13 Mar 2020 at 21:23 - Score: 6

Säuerlich malziger Beginn, der klar für eine Infektion spricht - das MHD ist dabei noch gut 6 Wochen entfernt. Geringe Malzigkeit, deutliche aber nicht stechende Säure, andere Aromen sind nur schwer erkennbar. Mittellanger Abgang. Meh. 9/5/6/6/8/5

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest spicy. Some light herbal notes. Finish well balanced, soft malty-spicy. Not bad.

From tap. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty. Bittr. Breadish. Dry malty. Bitter and slight herbal. Dry finish.

0,33 l bottle from an EDEKA in Lüneburg. Murky copper in the glass, smallest head. Low sour fruitieness on the nose. Taste starts with a mix of malt und fruit tea. Hints of sourness. Very low carbonation. Dry finish. Strange due to the increasing sourness. Can not convince.

Draught at BBF16. Caramel brown with a medium head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Flavour is oily malt, sweet caramel, a little bitterness on the finish.

Draught at BBF13. Sour rag aroma. Cloudy orange amber colour. Big semi-stable off-white head. The flavour is malty, bordering on buttery. Has a disturbing sour rag note. Not clean.

Draught @ BBF13. Pours slightly hazy amber with small but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel. Sweetish, malty and fruity flavour with a sourish (?!) touch. Mildly sweet aftertaste with a touch of dust and metal. Acceptable but definitely not impressive.
