Aromas of passionfruit, pineapple, coconut and orange tang. The tang stands out on tasting, with some lemon also combining with the other flavours. Quite a unique NEIPA.

Tall can from Island Grocery in Oneroa on our last day in Waiheke. Hazy opaque light goldenrod pour with small fizzy white head. Aroma is zesty fizzy lemon peel, orange, mango, pineapple. Taste is dry bitterness up front, with lemon peel then some mango underneath. Dry dry fizzy bitter finish. Very interesting - dry and hazy, as promised. It’s really successful in achieving that. Good!

Can. Brownish orange with a fat coat of white head. 3- Aroma of coconut, mandarin, rosemary (!?), crackers. Very smooth texture, carbonation is just on the low side of medium. Mandarin and some tropical fruit - lychees, Asian pineapple- give way to coconut and that odd herbal note. I think the beer is indeed relatively dry but the seeming richness of the coconut is discombobulating. Interesting, fun.

Can. An unclear yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of hops, lemons, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, lemons, straw, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

From a 500ml can on 25/1/2020. Pours a cloudy straw colour with a small head. The nose is citrussy and tropical. Tastes sweet and fruity, with orange, peach, mango and melon, as well as a good dash of coconut. The bitterness is gentle and the finish slightly dry. Has a slightly creamy mouthfeel and average carbonation. Tasty enough but lacks a bit of punch for mine.
