Sample (thanks omhper!). Amber colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is caramel, floral, some herbal and mild earthy tones. Flavour is earthy, floral, some herbal and earthy tones. Mild liquorice and caramel in the finish too.

[ As Boston Brewery Devilslide - Red IPA ].
ABV: 7.4%. ✅ Clear medium orange amber colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, pine, spruce, resin, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel, pine, resin - spruce, dry, hops bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20220521]

--Canned, from Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. -- Almost clear copper colour, small head. Aroma of grapefruit and toast. Dry with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Dank pears and passionfruit, toast and caramel. Long bitter finish. A solid piece.

Can at Gavel, KL. Poured a very slightly hazy reddish amber colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, toffee caramel. The flavour is over moderate bitter, light sweet, with a rich, sweet toffee, light floral, big hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. This is my second beer from Boston and I’m already seeing a pattern with their love of bittering hops!

Aromas of raisin, pine resin, bread and lemon peel. The alcohol is a little obvious but the hops balance it a little.

Can. Clear reddish amber with a pale beige head that lasts well. Aroma of sticky buns with strawberries, pine, orange. Sweet but not lush with slightly burnt toffee then a fair bit of resinous bitterness. The fruit notes are pushed into the background a bit. Very good in a style that's not quite for me.
