Our brewer Kenny claims it was a talking, craft beer-loving fox who gave him the idea for this brew: a red, Farmhouse Ale brewed with orange peel, hibiscus and pepperberry.
We're still not sure if we believe his tale, but we all agree that this is one very tasty beer.
APPEAR ANCE:
Garnet with dense, off-white foam.
AROMA:
Spiced fruit and citrus notes driven by Saison yeast, hibiscus, pepperberry and orange peel.
FL AVOUR: Mild malt sweetness with a full mid-palate and a crisp finish.

Bottle. Deep reddish amber with a beige head that gradually fades to a coat. Mildly funky biscuity aroma with ginger, oranges, cassia bark. Not as sweet as expected and fairly light bodied with a smooth texture and moderate carbonation. 3+ A little biscuit and toast, some funky spiciness that might be yeast or additions (the additions still stick out a little much for me). Dryish at the end with moderate yet decisive bitterness. Not bad with a pleasant texture and a nice finish.
