White Oak is an equal blend of two beers. A wheat-wine aged in Bourbon barrels (we call it "White Oak Sap") and our Belgian-style Golden Strong Ale (Mischief) join each other in a delicate dance of flavor and character before we package the final product. White Oak showcases vivid caramel, coconut and vanilla flavors blanketed in a crisp yet robust wheat ale. A true exercise of balance.

Courtesy of tpd975. Thanks Greg! Pours hazy copper with gold edges and loose tall white head. The aroma is smooth yet semi bright with pears, apples, aged smashed pears, sweet malts and some vanilla. The taste is very smooth with vanilla, fruity goodness, slick sweet malts and rich ripe sweet green apples. This is a smooth tasty brew showing virtually no sense of the big abv. Very nice.

Bottle from a trade with JohnC. Pours hazy golden color with white head. Fruity aroma with some oak. Flavors of wheat, citrus, fruit and some wood. Medium body with lively carbonation.

750 ml bottle shared by Iowaherkeye! By far my favorite of the bruery beers! Nose of light yeast, a giant oak tree, light allspice, and fruitiness. Hazy gold with a big glass lacing, pale yellow head. Flavor has a hint of funk, lots of yeast, oak, and spiciness.

On tap at the Bruery. Pours with a frothy white head over a cloudy golden glowing body. Aroma is strongly tannic with barrel, bourbon, vinous notes, buttery and light fruits. Taste is cashew, vanilla, bourbon, tannins, butterscotch, and well mellowed alcohol backbone. Very nice. Syrupy mouthfeel, light carbonation. Great stuff!
