Bottle @ home, Israeli tick. Pours a black appearance with a brown creamy head. Cola, chocolate, chalk, and some roast in the nose. Medium bitterness. Moderate low sweetness. There’s some anise, light smoke, and chalk in the flavor. Fine.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours black with a dark tan head. Aroma is lightly smoky chocolate. Med body or better. Flavor is quite smoky with some chocolate and perhaps coffee. Very flavorful, but Irish?

Bottle. Pours black with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of dry roasted malts with some dark grains and a hint of bitter chocolate. Flavor has strong roasted malts that add a good amount of bitterness and leave to a dry finish backed by bitter dark grains.

330 ml bottle. Pours a pitch black with a huge, long lasting, light brown head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, dark chocolate and licorice. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, licorice and dried fruit with a dry finish. Medium body with oily texture and soft carbonation.

Ooh, Israeli beer! Haven’t had too many of those. This one pours jet black with huge head, though the head really isn’t that super thick and disappears rather quickly. There is a strong barley aroma offset by heavy carbonation which adds a citrus flavour to it, so it’s not as deep or stable as it really could or should be. The flavour is strong milky barley, nice and meaty, somewhat sweet, but simple. Lacking complexity. A solid stout, but nothing is here that would propel this brew into the stratosphere.

[Thanks to tomer]. Bottle. Black colour with a foamy beige head with good duration. Aroma has notes of roasted notes, light cocoa, and coffee. Flavor is roasty, some licorice and coffee beans notes, slightly wood and ashes. The final is mild bittery with strong coffee and roasty presence on palate.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of oats, light roast, and a touch of cocoa. Flavour brings out oats, metallic notes, and light roast. Quite full-flavoured, if not a bit thin on the mouthfeel. Solid stuff.

Bottle, thanks Eddan. Black with a small browniish head. Thin and vapid with some light roasted malt, chocolate and syrup. Nothing to write home about.
