Bottle at home in London. Many thanks to Tomer for the trade! Pours deep brown with a sturdy, dark beige foam head. Some greasy, meaty dark malts in the nose, bit of tangy cocoa, moderate roast and the bottom of a coffee pot. Light to medium sweet flavor with plenty of ashy roasted malts, chocolate, faint licorice, dark malts, well toasted sugars, light bitter burnt wood and earth. Light to medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Light sweetness to finish, some flinty dark malts, pleasant bittersweet cocoa, light roast, ash, mellow tobacco, low bitterness. Very drinkable stout. There are actually some really rewarding layers to this beer. Nice work!

Draught at the brewpub. Nice and black. Thin head. Hoppy and roasty aroma, just like I like. Full of roast but a little bit thin in the finish. Good drinking stout, to accompany the gorgeous view.

0.33L bottle, small head that dissapears very quickly. uniform opaque black colour, aroma of charred wood, dark chocolate and whiffs of smoke, charred wood dominates the flavour with hints of dried fruits and dark bread, almost completely dry. feels quite fat and silky, long bitter aftertaste. Quite impressive.
