Thanks! Sampled draft @ Italian Beer Week-end / Zwanze 2014 CML. Black, solid smaller mocha head. Nose very syrupy, prunes, mocha, liquorish. Taste is long cooked brown apples, syrup, lots of prunes, creamy liquorish, dark fruits, mocha. Thick syrupy body. Very nice even if not my favourite flavour combinations.

Tap tasted on 05/07/2014. Drak brown ale with a creamy and persistent white head. Aroma is fruity and sugar. Taste is complex, with vainilla, dark fruits and malts. Nice carbonation and easy to drink. The alcohol is well balanced. Next one please!

Bottle from Colin (Theydon Bois) had this Tuesday 25th December 2013 at dads Pours very dark brown with light beige head. A little caramel bit of vanilla, nice nose but very gentle. Easy drinking, smooth, soft in the mouth with fine dusty cocoa finish. I like this another interesting Imperial Stout. A7 A4 T8 P3 Ov15 3.7

Bottle from Domus Birrae in Roma based on recommendation from the guy running the place. The beer pours dark brown with a medium thick foamy tan head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruit and coffee. Medium to full body with flavors of roast malt, figs, coffee and earthy hops. The finish is malty with a dark fruit aftertaste. Pretty good beer all around.

Opaque black color, good creamy brownish head, lace. Strong toasted aroma, coffee, chocolate. Soft palate, full-bodied. Creamy chocolate, a bit ashy, tobacco ... Nice toasted and smooth flavor, not alcoholic at all. Excellent.
