Exactly what I want from a American brown ale. Malty but hoppy, black ipa-ish in its hoppiness. Dank is it? Resin. Good stuff!

not much nose but some faint toffee and citrus notes. Nice toffee, chocolate and wood with tangerine notes in the finish. Solid bitterness. Nice depth in the palate. Bitter dry finish with toffee and tangerines lingering. Nice take on the style. To be honest one of the better takes on the style. Rating might be a tad high. Could be 3.75, but not lower.
