33 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu. Rated on 09.10.2010
Aroma is sourish with some earthy and floral notes. Also some citrus. Flavour is somewhat sour and slightly tart with earthy and leathery notes. Also some citrus and floral notes too. Good and refreshing, reminds me of Orval. This has even the same ABV.

Bottle: Cloudy, amber coloured, extremely gushing, there fore a huge - slowly collapsing - off-white fluffy head; phenolic-sourish nose with a little barnyardy touch over a basic fruitiness; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied; sourish-wheaty finish, combined with a tart bitterness. No glory at all.........

[33cl bottle] Hazy, reddish amber colour with a huge and tanned, very persistent foamy head, which makes it difficult to get the first sip. Yeasty, moderately malty aroma with red berries and flowery, woody hops. Bitter flavour, dry and moderately toasty malty taste with licorice and shy notes of caramel, accompanied by a touch of red berries and a woody hoppy bite. Dry and a bit fizzy mouthfeel, bitter and pretty hoppy and slightly fruity finish with a faint malty sweetness. Surely not perfectly rounded but nevertheless a very aromatic and hoppy Ale with English attributes [20.I.09].
