Dark: This classic beer style was first brewed by monks in the Middle Ages in order to fortify themselves during their fasting. A generous amount of malt goes into every bottle of smooth, rich Taybeh Dark Beer. Brewed in small batches in German traditional style using roasted malted barley, hops, yeast, and pure water creating a classic quality rare brew initially produced to celebrate Christmas 2000 at the turn of the century.

Dark brown colour with medium off white head.Aroma is sweet malty and toasted with nice caramel flavor and rich malty body,smooth and well balanced type of beer.RB rating 2015

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Chestnut coloured and filtered beer with a gigantic, beige head, that never completely vanishes. Very malty with a caramel sweetness. Surprisingly low carbonation considering the massive head. Lovely aromahops adds great flavours. Originally a Millennium beer that has stayed in production. 281204 3,2

Brun tåkete med lys brunt skum. Maltig lukt. Maltekstrakt, korn, karamell og noe nøtter. Lett. Smaker lett bitter kaffe, karamell og mørkt brød. Kort. (Oslo BrewFest 2024).

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.0%. Cola dark to black colour, moderate beige head. Sourish aroma of black rye bread and sourdough bread, hints of burnt caramel. Smooth mouthfeel and flavour, notes of lightly roasted malts and dark bread, not too sweet, low bitterness.
