Enjoyed on tap as part of a sampler at Honolulu Beerworks in Honolulu, HI. I didn’t take tasting notes for this one, but remember this as pretty good, notes of oak, wood, vanilla, with a malty backbone. The barrel definitely compliments and doesn’t dominate, but is a bit faint when compared against other barrel aged brews I’ve had. Still pretty good though.

Hazy Amber color. Nice Belgian lacing. Lots of vanilla and oak in the nose, but not over powering. The mouth is medium full bodied. Lingering oak and vanilla finish. Bourbon never over powers but pale ale characters don’t shine either. Still well made and enjoyable beer.

Slight haze, light amber. Has a lot of bubblegummy heads-forward whisky character. Lots of malt, rich barrel character, sugary finish. Fun stuff.
