On tap at Denver Rare Beer Tasting 8. Pours black with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong roast, smoke, ash, wood, bourbon. Thick body, chewy roast, smoke, tobacco, ash, dark chocolate, bourbon, dry finish, very nice.

Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting VIII on 10/07/2016. Dark brown-black color with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing. Smoked malt, bourbon and chocolate aroma. Medium body with flavors of charred oak and malt, dark chocolate and bourbon. The finish is mildly boozy and smokey with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good beer overall.

dark brown color, light brown head, smokey, with tons of bacon and bourbon, very unique. Big big smokiness hits you then bacon and bourbon. OMG this is heavenly. Applewood pulled pork doused in bourbon sauce. Fantastic. Full body. Malty, so well put together. Insane. Why can’t anyone else try and/or pull this off? Bacon and bourbon are heaven on earth.
