Big aromas of cocoa, and vanilla. The strawberry seems to get lost in the shuffle, maybe there are some hints in that there is a subtle tartness in the finish, but mostly this is a vanilla cocoa stout. And a good one at that! desert in a bottle!

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large brown color head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light roasted malty with lactose and medium vanilla notes. Taste is quite heavy with light roasted malt offset by solid amount of lactose and some vanilla notes are also easily noticeable. Body is full with syrupy texture and good carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Interesting experiment and I get what they tried to achieve but I just don’t think this is something I would drink on a regular basis.

Vanilla icecream topped with tons of chocolate. Sweet. Malty. Not apologitic on being so over the top sweet. However in a group of ten people on the beach this got a huge tumbs up. Really interesting.
