Bottle at Brugs Beertje. Golden coloured pour with a great off white head. Malty/citrus fruit aroma. Tastes malty, dry, citrus fruit. A warming satisfying triple that is quite hard to find.

Bottled (Bs, BBE 2010, "L01A-2008"). Hazy yellow color, small white head. Yeasty, barnyardish nose with pear sweetness and some iron. Apricot fruity and very alcoholic and spicey flavor. Long sweet alcholic aftertaste. Just like some European strong lagers ...

Bottle (from belgianshop.com). A bit hazyish golden colour with big foam head. Aroma is alcohol, some fruityness, yeast, mild spices as well as malts and wood. Flavour is fruity, spicy, malty and yeasty. Also has some slight herbal notes. The alcohol mainly gives a burning feel while drinking, but not too much alcohol in flavour. Clean tripel, but also quite boring...

Draught: Poured a hazy yellow to golden with a white fluffy head. Aroma is fruit and hops. Taste was a bitter metallic with hops, blends well with the fruit and malts.

Bottle, 8%. Weak yeasty aroma, hint of sweet fruit. Cloudy yellow colour. Big stable white head. The flavour has some clove, alcohol and a little hint of grain. A little yeasty, too. OK mouthfeel.

Towering, just off-white head over yellow-golden beer, very carbonated. Vegetable nose, pale malts, dry white candi sugar. Some citrus/citruspeel. Both pale & caramel malts, more white candi sugar, roasted & caramelized sugar. Fleeting sweetness, but maily dry, unless in the aftertaste. Some alcoholflavour and –warming. Quite slick, oily texture and quite spritzy. In the end, long sweeter aftertaste, turning sticky. Bit sweet – but seen the refermentation, heres another one that might perform better with a bit of aging.
