Draught at Elysian Brewing Company on Pike St.
Dark amber color. Light caramel aroma and stronger caramel flavor, but they are a bit dusty, not very malty; correct bitterness.
It doesn’t really taste like a true German Bock, but it’s still a solid drinkable beer.

Pours dark caramel color with tan head. Sweet dark fruit malty aroma. Caramel, chocolate and malt flavors. Meidum body with average carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. Not bad.

Deep mahogany color. Sweet malty nose with a touch of apricot and oak. Malty sweet mouth, strawberries, oranges, baked cake notes. Malty rich chocolatey brownies finish. Flavors change quit a bit from nose to finish. Great stuff.

Amber-brown colour. Toffeeish, earthy aroma. Quite chewy with great dark malt flavours. Full body. Enough bitterness to carry the beer but not so much as to obstruct. Quality example of a style seldom done with inspiration.
