Bottle. Murky brown color, medium light brown head. Aroma of caramel and raw bread dough. Taste is malt-o-meal and light spice. Not bad.

Bottle at home in London. Pours an almost clear, ruby-brown with a creamy, light tan head. Toasted sugar aroma, like turbinado, with hints of berries and other fruits. Medium sweet flavor, kind of messy. Some fruits, hints of brown sugar and leather, some toast. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Sweet finish, slightly warming, more toasted sugar, slimy syrup, mild dirt. There’s an odd, biting aspect to the carbonation. Pretty average stuff.

33 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, BBE 26.11.2011
Aroma has lots of sweet, bready malt like german dark lagers. Some sugar and caramel too. Flavour is also sweet with some sugar, caramel and toffee. Hints of solvent also. Too sweet for me.

Bottle, 33cl, at Oud Arsenaal. A big, light tan head sits on top of an unclear brown body. Lacings. Dried fruits, dark sugars, some cigar smoke, cellar and herbs. The flavor is quite sweet, yet it is dry, with dark malts, dark sugar, dried fruits, and caramel. Slightly oxidised. Full-bodied and smooth. Lasting finish. 110429
