Basically black, looks inky, rich coffee, sugary, touch of molasses and maple. Rich and tasty dessert stout with an intense coffeeish edge.

Pitch black pour with a thick espresso head with excellent retention. The perfect appearance for a stout. Huge maple notes, followed by cold-brewed coffee, toffee, coffee ice cream, lactose, dark chocolate, some dark fruit. An excellent imperial stout, very well balanced, smooth texture, full-bodied but with a nice amount of carbonation to make it a very enjoyable drink.

500ml bottle thanks to stevoj pours out black topped with a small tan head. Nose is great big sweet maple syrup coffee chocolate cake bourbon barrel. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate coffee bourbon barrel booze maple syrup. This is very nice.

Bottle from brewery. Inky black, silky, ring of dark brown head. Coffee first, then cinnamon, chocolate. Taste follows with more of the same. Velvety, smooth, creamy. Absolutely delicious.

Bottle thanks to Eric. Pours black with small tan head. The aroma is strong maple syrup and vanilla bean. Medium body, maple, vanilla, roast, milk chocolate, nice sweeetness, enjoyed this.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours very dark brn/blk with a very dark tan head. Aroma is maple with an interesting malt impression suggesting pancakes. Quite full bodied. Flavor is maple - more sugar than syrup - with a very smooth and dark malt accompaniment. Not dry. Not bitter. Very, very slight heat. Well masked. This is an exquisite sipper. Next time it should have bacon!
