Wineglass showing beautiful red with a finger of clean white foam.

The nose shows moderately intense notes of barnyard and Brett.

The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Strongly tart and acetic with faint hints of cherry on the end. A bit too tart and acidic.

Bottle, 375ml. Gentle on the cherries, but pleasant and refreshing. Not too heavy on the funk either. 747414 250530

* Pleasant sour kriek. *
Hazy red-pink color. Huge pinkish-white head. Sweet, cherries, brett. Medium sour taste but well balanced with sweetness. Tart-dry finish.

Cherry, raspberry, malt, vinegar, and dry hay aroma. Hazy ruby red with minimal head. Minimally sweet cherry, raspberry, biscuit malt, mild sour vinegar, and mildly bitter dry hay flavor. Nice body and balance.

375mL bottle at the International Lambic & Kriek festival. Pours murky ruddy orange with a white head. Brett, musty cherries, some funk on the nose. Flavour has tart red cherries, some old wood, moderate acidity. Very nice

Cloudy red, large pink head. Funky aroma. Acetone, funky sharp cherries, and sharp barnyard funk. Wet hay, wet grass. Lively carb, lovely mouth feel. Medium tartness, loads of funk, but it lacks the nuanced complex funk of a cantillon of 3 fonteinen. But all in all this is a true belgiam lambic, and one to enjoy and be proud of.

Cloudy red with a modest pink head. Fresh wild cherries, funk, pretty dry. Not that complex but a pleasant one.

Nice look, pink tinting what looks like an orange base beer, pink tinted huge rocky foam. Nose is light cherry, light yeasty funk. Fairly dry, mild tartness, funk and cherry flavors. Overall a surprisingly restrained and light kriek. Light bodied with plenty of carbonation. Mild astringency at finish. Enjoyable but perhaps not as complex or funky as some of the better krieks I've had.
