It was the first time for us using Galaxy hops when creating this beer, so something very new and exciting for us here at the brewery and based on feedback, it was just exciting for customers too!. This pale beer is hoppy and crisp with light tones of passion fruit.
Fun fact: This beers name pays homage to the nine dogs that were on board the Titanic.

Cask at Sun, Stafford. Now calling itself Nine Dogs IPA, but I think it’s the same beer. Pours golden yellow with a small off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is mainly floral hops – with a hint of almonds. In the mouth it is sweet, but with an underlying spicyness. Floral hops are prevalent, along with marzipan and mango. Finish is quite bitter and has a little citrus stickiness. IPA or not IPA, that is the question ?

29/12/2019. Bottle sample courtesy of minutemat, cheers! Pours clear dark gold with a short lasting white head. Aroma of toffee, hops, passion fruit, butterscotch, citrus and a hint of chocolate. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Moderate body, oily/sticky texture, average carbonation. Quite a bitter finish. Interesting brew, pretty good.

330ml bottle from Appleyards. Pours a deep gold, moderate patch white froth atop. Aroma brings passionfruit, toffee, malt, citrus, grapefruit. Taste is indeed crisp with a confident bitterness, toffee and passionfruit seem to be the order of the day, bright and hoppy overall with light floral notes with some butterscotch. Tasty, but the butterscotch is a little off-putting.
