High-gravity golden ale with peaches and milk sugar
A classic from our storied 2007 Imperial Beer Series, Peaches and Cream is a real Joe Short original, showcasing his desire to push the boundaries of what beer could be in a time when “dessert beers” weren’t actually a thing. There is a wacky amount of fresh peach and milk sugar in this brew, and boy howdy does it taste like dessert in a glass. You’ll be pleased as a peach with this treat.

Bottle from Short’s. Hazy, fiery medium orange body, thin cream head. Acidic nose with sharp, sweet, musty peach. Sweet body, very sweet at the forefront with lactose and sweet fleshy peach, fading to light tannins and some alcohol warmth in the finish. The fleshy sweetness is pronounced when the beer is warmed to an appropriate temperature; sharp, bitter off-notes are prevalent when the beer is cold. An interesting concoction, potent and pretty good.

Cloudy amber - orange beer. Frothy off white head. Slightly soft palate, just a little dry. Turns quite airy. Fruity beer but the peach is not dominant or sweet. Some lacto in the mid with orange and peach. Finishes the same with a light touch of aniseed alcohol. Nice experiment. Just about works.

Bottle, 2010-04-16, Göteborg AR: aparicot marmelade mmmmmmmmmmmm AP: reddish abit cloudy body (getting more and more cloudy, the further down the the bottle), 2 cm or more high creamy peached coled head slowly dimingising. F: apricot marmelade, julmust???, a bit nutty, long and happy ending the sediment is only adding plesure vs flavor (not really apperance)

Bottle 270/800 thanks to JohnC. Pours with a hazy amber body and an off-white head. Aroma of peaches, caramel, and vanilla. Quite nice. Taste is alcohol, apricot, peach skins (and tannins), vanilla and a light bitterness. Extraordinary. Medium carbonation and a dry finish.

Bottle Pours out a hazy peach color topped with a white head. To get more of a dramatic review you have have to check out ditmier’s every thing was true. Aroma was nice a light peach cobbler along with some vanilla notes. Taste more of the peach and cream. A very fun brew and at 9.5% watch out. Thanks Toby Bottle #449 of 820

Bottled@Konttori, Tampere. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head that leaves some lace. Aroma is peaches, apricot and rather sweet. Flavour is very much the same with some stinging sweetness to it.
