Bottle from Globus getränkemarkt, Losheim. Clear brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dark bread and dark sugar. Flavor is very sweet. Very sweet finish. Sticky and watery.130725

A clear dark reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of sweetish caramelized dark malt, molasses. Taste of sugary dark malt, caramel, syrup, molasses.

0.5 l bottle from local 'Trink & Spare', best before March 2026. Clear, very dark ruby with a medium large, slightly fluffy, quickly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, minimally fruity aroma of molasses, burnt sugar, bread crust and a touch of raisins. Rather sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly bready and a little fruity taste of bread crust, toasted grains, molasses, burnt sugar and light raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Almost medium-bodied, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant Malzbier, doesn't feel like a light version.
