Pours black, no head. Scent is juicy, bourbon, soy, roasty chocolate, smoother than all previous versions I've had. Taste is fairly sharp, bourbon, but quite balanced between heath, roast and sweetness. Perhaps a bit to much towards the booze, but not troublesome. Seemingly high abv , though 'only' 13 %

Anotha hot tap, booze all over nose, settles too but interesting cherry chocolate tiny finish. Never had Belle Meade so can't compare but quite interesting. Not so much bourbon chocolate as expected. If the bottles are hot too, 6 months might be the trick
